The growing hatchling was flapping his wings trying to practice. It wasnt going over so well since he was on the ground.

Luna was on her way back with the kill she had made back to the lair. She knew that the cave was far ahead as she was getting more tired, and her wings started to ache with every flap, so she soared and flapped her powerful wings to stay airborne.

Flame got bored and ate a bug.

Hours later, Luna almost to her destination kept going as she knew that she was getting closer to her lair and let out a mighty roar to let her hatchling know that she was returning.

Flame ran outside and smiled, waiting for his mother.

Still in mid-air and seeing that her hatchling was waiting, she slowed down her speed with a couple of powerful flaps and gracefully landed cloe by the cave's entrance and dropped her kill on the ground while she sat upright with her wings folded neatly, she gave out a mighty roar and went back on all fours as she walked to a stream for a short drink of water.

Flame walked out to the edge to watch his mother.

Shortly after her refreshing drink from the stream, Luna lifted her head to find Flame watching her. She flicked her tail as a signal that there is food.

"You eat it.."he said softly. He could see his mother's exaustion and knew she needed the nourishment.

Knowing that Flame communicated to her she turned and walked towards the carcass that she left for Flame, and tore off a piece of flesh and began devour it with one gulp, she began to eat the food more hastily until she finished her whole meal.

When she was done eating her food, she flew up once more in the air and circled around her lair to try to encourage Flame to practice his flight.

He flapped his wings eagerly.

Flying in circles Luna made a deafening roar with her head lowered as if to get her hatchling more encouraged to start flying on his own.

Flame flapped his wings and stood on his back legs.

Circling above Flame she countinued to fly around while watching her hatchling flapping his wings.

He flapped harder and lifted off the ground.

Luna continued to fly in circles while watching Flame, she flapped her wings and took off as she looked back to see if her hatchling followed.

Flame rose higher and followed his mother slowy.

Luna soared and flapped her wings while staying beside Flame. She continued to encourage him to fly.

Flame started to get the hang of flying.

Luna roared while mid-air as she continued flying by Flame, she then spotted a herd of wild goats and dove after them to make another kill.

Flame landed ontop of a goat. .-.

Luna managed to capture her prey with her deadly claws and clamped down on it's throat with her needle-like teeth to wound her prey alittle, she then let it go and turned her head towards Flame as if telling him to go after and finish it off.

Flame chaced it like a modern day puppy would chace a toy. Meanwhile, the goat he landed on was dead.
